आयुर्वेद के अनुसार हमारे दैनिक प्रयोग में आनेवाले फल सब्जियों मेंकई औषधीय गुण मौजूद होते हैं I ऐसी ही एक सब्जी है मूली जिसका प्रयोग हम अक्सर अपने भोजन में करते हैंमूली धरती के नीचे उगनेवाली पौधे की जड होती हैं। धरती के ऊपर रहने वाले इसके पत्ते भी पोषक तत्वों से भरपूर होते हैं। इसके पौधे में आने वाली फलियाँ भी समान रूप से उपयोगी और स्वास्थ्यवर्धक है।

मूली में कैल्शियमप्रोटीनकार्बोहायड्रेटआयोडीनआयरन तथा फाइबर भरपूर मात्रा में होते हैं इसके अलावा मूली में सोडियम,क्लोरीनफॉस्फोरस तथामैग्नीशियम भी पाया जाता है। मूलीमें विटामिन '', 'बीऔर 'सीभी प्राप्त होते हैं।

  • मूली के बीजों को उसके पत्तों के रस के साथ पीसकर लेप करने से अनेक चर्मरोगों से मुक्ति मिलती है।
  • मूली मुंहासो के उपचार में भी कारगर है। मूली का एक टुकड़ा काट कर मुंहासों परलगाएं। १०१५ मिनट बाद चेहरे को ठण्डे पानी से धो लेंकाफी लाभ होगा।
  • मूली का रस पानी में मिलाकर सिर धोने से जुएँ नष्ट होती हैं।
