World Health Day 2012!

Happy World Health Day 2012!
Every year, April 7 is celebrated as World Health Day to mark the Anniversary of WHO (1948). Focusing on new and emerging health issues, World Health Day provides an opportunity to start collective action to protect people's health and well-being.
Each year a theme is selected for World Health Day that highlights a priority area of concern for WHO. The topic this year is 'Aging and Health' with the theme "Good Health Adds Life to Years". Good health can be achieved by minor changes in our eating and living habits. 
Regular exercise and meditation, balanced diet including fresh seasonal fruits and veggies, drinking lots of water to keep body hydrated, cutting down on junk foods, tobacco and alcohol consumption, managing day to day stress and getting adequate rest shall surely help us to attain a good health!
